A little Discworld fanart doodle, just for the heck of it. Specifically, fanart of the Witches Of Lancre! Because there's maybe two or three other pictures of them on dA, and all other DW fanart tends to be kawaii yaoi or furries of Vetinari, the Night Watch and so on.
From left to right, Magrat Garlick, Nanny Gytha Ogg, her evil cat Greebo, and Granny Esme Weatherwax. Best fictional witches ever, and some of the best characters from several of the best DW books.
The witches and Discworld in general belong to that wonderful mad englishman Terry Pratchett.
The one on the left looks the neatest. I like the sketchy look of this. But of course I always like the sketchy looks of things. I'm predictable that way.

Hahaha! They look very much like their descriptions in the books! I kind of thought Nanny Ogg would be a bit heftier, but that's ok. Definitely get out of the way of those three. o_o

Oooo, I like your take on these three! Wyrd Sisters was the only Discworld book I ever managed to finish (I dunno what it is about Terry Pratchett; I like his world, his writing, his humor...but his books just don't hold my attention).
I was first introduced to Discworld with "The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents" but when I tried to read other ones, they weren't related at all, and none of it made any sense.
Maybe I should try again, just so I know who these people are.

Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
