           "Dammit, Curt, drive faster!"
           "I'm going as fast as I can!"
           The car screeched across the asphalt, wavering slightly as the driver sought to outrun their pursuers.  But the pursuers had the exact same car as the pursued, so it wasn't going too well.
           Kraven aimed carefully with his rifle, trying to line up the sight with one of the windows.  He fired, but the car swerved as he did so and the bullet merely pinged off the special metal of the frame.  He swore.

Chapter 11:  Crash and Burn

           The ancient timber of the dock creaked and rattled as Otto's actuators set foot on them.  He was still going at top speed, he wanted the momentum so that he could toss the blasted cylinder as far out into the water as he could.

           Everything around him was a blur, a melding of grays, blues and blacks.  Otto could just barely make out that it was in fact still a building next to him; the only clear thing in view was the ground rushing up to meet him.  It was still far off, this being such a tall building after all, but it was coming ever closer.

Every great once in a while I still do fan art, 'cos I do in fact still like stuff and I need to get the urge out of my system. It's a rare thing these days, though, 'cos I'm trying to focus on original work. :P

So have a rare piece of fan art from me. Calvin & Hobbes spoofs have been done a zillion times and are unoriginal, but the idea tickled me and like I said, I had to get it out of my system.

The Venture Brothers quickly climbed into my Favorite Show Ever spot, and I think it'd take a hell of a lot to ever replace it. It's super-hard to do fanart of for some reason, though, so here's a rare one where I actually went and did it. Two of my favorite characters on the show, the elder pair of Venture Brothers. :)

I too, love the show. Although I prefer the Order of the Triad over the Ventures. Heh, a good fan pic would be a parody of An Experiment on a Bird in the Air Pump with the three of them looking at a shrunken Dr. V inside, Orpheous with a self-satisfied smirk, showing that magic indeed triumphs over science.

The Venture bros. is my favorite show of all time and Calvin and Hobbes is my favorite comic, and this is a piece of fanart done by one of my favorite artists on Devart. : D Amazing.

These two translate into your style really well...which means that you should draw more Venture bros. fanart...or maybe more Lucy? Pretty please?
